BUILDER PROFILE:
Linford Nelson began building mountain cabins in 1966. His direct family ties to local lumber and hardware businesses, along with extensive investment in mountain real estate has kept him actively involved in building with the family owned and managed company, for over 40 years.

While Linford manages the company, his sons Josh and Jed are responsible for supervising construction operations. Nelson Log Homes’ development of mountain property, building of custom log cabins and homes, and successful subdivisions have led to the construction of numerous homes in the Highlands Subdivision. The home entered in this year’s Parade of Homes is the 16th property completed in the subdivision. The Nelson constructed homes are easy to identify because of their quality of construction and satisfied customers. Currently they have several homes and many choice pieces of mountain property for customers to choose from.
